Remedial Learning Centre

We implement the CAPS curriculum in a supportive and aided teaching

approach, which has shown to be exceptionally successful at the

Learning Centre. We focus on encouraging our learners to manage their academic challenges with confidence and providing them with appropriate resources for success.

Small Classes

We are pleased to inform you that our teacher-to-learner ratio is no more than eight learners in a class. With limited and controlled student numbers per class, we maintain an inclusive environment in which each student

receives the specific attention they need.

Individualised Learning Program

Our teachers use a customised educational approach in which teaching approaches are tailored to the needs of every learner. This diverse approach in the classroom is an important component of KidzBeelong's distinctive academic program.

Before and after enrolling at KidzBeelong, every learner will undergo a series of formal and informal assessments. Assessment results are used to create an individualised support plan for all learner specific academic needs and goals.

Mainstream Curriculum

KidzBeelong utilises Think Digital Academy as their curriculum supplier. Think Digital Academy is registered with SACAI (South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute) and meets the standards for students to acquire their National Senior Certificate. The South African online curriculum is known as the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). CAPS are part of the National Curriculum Statement Grades R–12, which is a policy statement for learning and teaching in South African schools. Think Digital Academy allows you to complete this curriculum from anywhere in the world, which is perfect if you're relocating or continuing into high school.

Our Approach

KidzBeelong is an independent learning centre that focuses on quality rather than

quantity. We provide one-on-one full-time education from Grades 1 to 7. We provide

individual attention, assistance, and assisted learning for students who require a

supportive home-school atmosphere. Children with learning and emotional difficulties

react well to a small, secure environment in which their needs may be responded to

individually and appropriately.

Years of practical teaching experience taught us that in order to truly make a positive

difference in each and every learner's life, classrooms should be kept as small as

possible so that the learner does not become a passive listener but an active

participant in the entire learning journey.

By registering with KidzBeelong and utilising Think Digital Academy, parents and learners can be confident they are following the national curriculum and receiving the necessary formal examinations at every stage. Our service helps parents meet all of the national curriculum's set of expected outcomes. The examinations, exams, and school-based assessments required to create each learner's evidence portfolio are provided by TDA. Think Digital Academy is certified at both SACAI for the South African CAPS curriculum and the GED Testing Service® for the United States GED curriculum.
